Designing a little girl's room is an exciting opportunity to combine creativity, comfort, and personality into a space that feels uniquely hers. One way to give her room an instant burst of personality and charm is incorporating a stunning focal point. Like this colorful southwest-style horse art I just completed called "Southwest Filly", I have based the room around this art!

Here is the design: striped wallpaper from Farrow & Ball this wallpaper is fun because the stripes can be hung different ways! We are going to mix textures with the bed linens, vintage quilts, cactus silk pillow, sheepskin chair, and lots of wood tones. Light wood and distressed finishes fit into our southwest aesthetic and bring a touch of the outdoors in. The lamp features modern lines which balance out the rustic. Every cowgirl needs a lucky horseshoe and this bow one is too cute! A touch of bandana print and a darling horse stuffed animal and we have the perfect place for a little horse girl to dream, play, and grow.
